Our Mission:

Provide independent musicians with the support they need to get people listening to their music and hearing their story. Giving musicians a chance to share their stories and culture instead of getting pushed aside.

Overview:

Solo.music will be a free website for musicians to get support in finding their audience within the digital landscape. The main feature of the website will be a fine-tuned generative AI model that takes in user information, as well as information from user’s social media accounts, in order to provide marketing consulting for the user to promote their music, mainly through social media. Solo.music might also help users with paid marketing campaigns, time management, budgeting, gig finding, and connecting musicians with each other.

Development:

We are currently in very early stages of development. Currently we need some data to create a basis within our system, thus the purpose of this webpage. We also have an instagram page to gain early publicity and followers.

Financials:

There had been potential of Solo.music to be a for-profit business, but ultimately it is going to be a nonprofit. Such a route would be preferable, as ultimately the goal is to get many people sharing their voice through music; the platform must be free to be accessible to all users. Currently, there is no way to donate, but a crowdfunding campaign is in the works, and once we have formally registerd as a non-profit, we will accept donations directly.

Our Values:

Privacy, transparency, and accessibility are of some of the key values of Solo.music. We would never share your data with third parties, nor would we share your information to other users without your knowledege and consent. As a non-profit, transparency is imperitive, as failure to do so could be problematic. Lastly, we want this platform to be accessible to as many people as possible. Unfortunatly, we don't have the capacity to specifically develop our A.I. model to work perfectly with all languages, so if you are not a native english speaker, you might get less effective results, but you still should be able to access our platform and get some results.
